Who can book a space at the Center?
The Center welcomes bookings from individuals, community groups, nonprofits, and organizations whose events align with the Center’s mission of dialogue, learning, and cultural exchange.
How far in advance should I submit an inquiry?
Inquiries are welcome at any time. However, submitting your request at least 6 weeks in advance helps ensure availability and adequate time for coordination.
What does the rental fee include, and what additional costs should I expect?
Rental fees cover the use of the space and standard facility support; additional costs may apply for audio-visual support, extended setup time, or catering services.
Is my booking confirmed when I submit the online form?
Submitting the form begins the review process. A member of our Events team will contact you to confirm availability, discuss details, and finalize your booking.
Are outside vendors (catering, AV, decor) permitted?
The Ismaili Center maintains a list of preferred vendors familiar with our spaces and policies. Outside vendors may also be approved on a case-by-case basis and must follow the Center’s operational and logistical guidelines.
Can I tour the space before making a booking?
Absolutely. Tours can be arranged by appointment once your inquiry has been received and event details have been reviewed.
Are food and beverages allowed at events?
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in designated areas with prior approval. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
What types of events can be hosted at the Center?
The Center accommodates a variety of gatherings, including banquets, conferences, health & wellness programs, meetings, performances, presentations, social gatherings, and workshops. All event requests are reviewed to ensure they align with the Center’s mission and values.
